An array of stores on many of the capital’s famous shopping streets such as Chua Boc, Thai Ha, Pham Ngoc Thach, and Cau Giay are offering discounts of between 10 per cent and 70 per cent on some items. Some are even offering a special promotion with items being priced as low as VND5,000, VND20,000, and VND50,000, or one item being free if a customer purchases over two products.

There are discounts on sportswear brands such as Adidas and Nike of between 30 per cent to 50 per cent over the seven-day period.

This period also represents a busy period for online stores. Prices of fashion brands including Shein, Triumph, Sloggi, and Triaction are all 20 per cent to 50 per cent off for customers.

Sportswear brand Kappa is applying discounts ranging from 20 per cent to 90 per cent in stores nationwide with the offer set to last until the end of November.

Fashion lovers can enjoy a discount of 50 per cent to 70 per cent when purchasing items from famous brand Canifa between November 23-30.

Mango is offering a discount of 70 per cent on all women’s items.

Each year, Black Friday falls on the fourth Friday of November, following Thanksgiving in the US. It is widely considered to be the start of the Christmas shopping period, with major retailers offering promotional sales to invigorate buyers.
