VinSmart plans to launch five smart TV models using the Android TV operating system. These models are set to make their debut in December this year. The Vsmart TVs will be manufactured at the VinSmart plant at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park in Hanoi City.

Le Mai Tuyet Trinh, deputy general director of Vingroup, said that the cooperation agreement with the world’s leading tech firms, such as Google, was part of its advanced technology application plan.

Apart from the partnership with Google, Vingroup will team up with other tech giants to turn out many Vietnam-branded smart items meeting international standards.
