Online ads – game of chance

Have you ever purchased goods online? Apparently, most of us have, as online shopping has become a trend in modern society. However, many people say online shopping is a game of chance.

When you order a dress, but the shop sends you a blouse.

When you order a Christmas tree, and end up getting something that looks more like a dead trunk.

These stories happen all the time.

Many consumers have wasted their money buying junk just because they go for low prices and believe in eye-catchy images and slogans.

More importantly, goods such as counterfeit money, weapons and explosives and drugs are all advertised online.

Handling advertising violations on cross-border platforms remains difficult. In the meantime, online purchasing depends much on the seller being responsible and the buyer having a bit of luck./. VNA
