The judging panel of Miss Vietnam Tourism 2020 have selected 35 outstanding contestants from across the country who will progress to the pageant’s semi-finals which are due to be held in Dak Nong province between November 18 and November 30.
Following the conclusion of the recent preliminary rounds in the northern and southern regions of Miss Vietnam Tourism 2020, the judging panel announces that a total of 35 beauty queens have made it to the semi-finals.
Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and the Central Highland province of Dak Nong each play host to the preliminary rounds of the pageant between October 16 and October 27.
Each contestant is given a platform in which to put their various talents and beauty on show during the preliminary round. Here are some notable photos captured of the 35 beauties.
The contest’s top 35 beauties are set to progress to the semi-finals which will be held between November 18 and November 30 in Gia Nghia city in the Central Highland province of Dak Nong.
The semi-final and final rounds of the beauty pageant are organised to coincide with the second brocade cultural festival in Dak Nong province. In addition to main activities during the beauty contest, a total of 35 girls are to join the local festival in order to help promote the nation’s tourism industry to visitors.
First held in 2017, the Miss Vietnam Tourism pageant aims to honour beauty, talent, and the intelligence of local girls, while simultaneously promoting tourism throughout the country.
Khanh Ngan, Miss Vietnam Tourism 2017, was the winner of the first version of the contest. She also went on to win the Miss Globe pageant in the same year.
