Featuring works honouring the beauty of Vietnamese women, an exhibition entitled “Net duyen” is now underway in Hanoi.
Images of women in everyday life, such as going to the market, working, carrying children, picking lotuses, and embroidering, are depicted through works by popular artists in Vietnam’s fine art circles.
It shows that the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women has always been a source of endless inspiration for Vietnamese painters.
The exhibition showcases nearly 20 works in materials such as lacquer, oil, and silk depicting the elegance of Vietnamese women.
Due to COVID-19, the exhibition got underway without an opening ceremony.
The exhibition is open until July 27 at the Fine Arts Exhibition House in Hanoi./.
