A number of travel operators have begun to launch tours to the Philippines, offering local football fans the chance to support the Vietnamese national men’s team in their fixtures at the ongoing SEA Games 30.
Tourism firm Vietravel are offering package tours to the Philippines ranging from three days to six days at an attractive price of VND14.9 million.
The tour includes a match ticket, accommodation, meals, and a city tour. The travel agency is also offering trips to visitors who are also interested in watching the competition’s semifinals and final.
In addition, Saigontourist have also launched a five-day trip to the Philippines, with the fans departing from Hanoi on December 4 to view the Group B match between Vietnam and Thailand.
The tour costs a total of VND17.9 million, although tourists who are keen to support the Vietnamese team in the competition’s knockout rounds can pay VND18.5 million to go on a tour that departs on December 7.
The chance to visit the Philippines is on offer as the Southeast Asian country does not require a visa for tourists, meaning that Vietnamese fans are only required to bring a passport which is valid for at least six months. VOV
Vietnam secured the second place in the medal tally of the ongoing 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) as of 5pm (Hanoi time) of December 1, the first official competition day.
Located inside the New Clark City sports complex in the Philippines, the Athletes’ Village is currently serving as the home for a variety of athletes, officials, and international volunteers who are participating in the 30th SEA Games.
