French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet is set to perform in Vietnam at the end of the month.

 

Born in Lyon, France, Jean-Yves Thibaudet began to learn the piano at five-years-old. Over the subsequent 30 years, the talent pianist has played shows to music fans where he has performed a wide range of pieces written by classical composers such as Beethoven, Liszt, Grieg, in addition to contemporary composers like Qigang Chen and James MacMillan.

In total, Thibaudet has made more than 50 recordings, whilst also performing with most of the world's leading symphonic orchestras.

The Sun Symphony Orchestra will also make an appearance, under the baton of French conductor Olivier Ochaninne.

 

He was inducted in the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame in 2010, noting his great contributions to music globally.

Thibaudet will perform in a show with the Sun Symphony Orchestra, which is under the baton of French conductor Olivier Ochaninne.

The French style performance is considered to be an opening for the Sun Symphony Orchestra’s 2019 to 2020 gala concert season.

Future shows will feature well-known local artists such as pianist Dang Thai Son.
