This year’s book festival will take place at Vietnam National Library on April 19, as part of the activities to celebrate Vietnam Book Day (April 21) and World Book and Copyright Day (April 23).

As part of the festival, an exhibition will feature documents introducing the process of the formation and development of knowledge.

According to the organisers, participants will have an opportunity to meet and exchange with the author - painter Trang Thanh Hien and Professor, Dr. Thai Kim Lan.

In addition, a series of activities, such as a painting competition with the book "Hanoi - City For Peace", a story telling contest in books in Vietnamese and English and receiving donor books from organisations and individuals to support libraries in difficult regions.
