The K-pop Lovers Festival will be held in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc square in Hanoi along with the qualifying round of the Changwon K-pop World Festival 2019 between May 11 and 12.
For Vietnam, this will be the seventh time that the K-pop Lovers Festival has been held in the country, and the ninth time the qualifying round of the Changwon K-pop World Festival 2019 has been held here. The events offer K-pop lovers from around the nation an exciting chance to enjoy different aspects from their favourite genre.
A wide range of activities are set to take place during the two-day festival. Exhibitions featuring products of K-pop idols, Korean tourism products, and other displays on Korean cuisine and culture will also be featured throughout the venue.
A street performance from the GORPHY group, a Korean delicacy making competition, exchanges between K-pop fan clubs, and Korean dances are expected to thrill crowds in the capital city.
The qualifying round of the Changwon K-pop World Festival 2019 is due to transpire at 6:30pm on May 12. Eighteen individuals and groups from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city will display their talent on stage alongside a number of guests including Vietnamese singer Min and Korean dancing group Seoul B-boy Crew.
The winner will go onto represent Vietnam in the global K-pop competition, which is scheduled to take place during September this year in Changwon, the Republic of Korea.
