A host of popular artists will take part in the event, including conductor Bongmee Kim, violinist Hyungi Kim, female soprano Sujeong Kang, pianist Beomjun Kim, singer Anh Bang, conductor Ho Duy Truong, in addition to lecturers and students from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

This unique cultural and artistic exchange aims to mark the second anniversary since the establishment of the United Youth Harmony Choir, a community choir founded at the HCMC Conservatory of Music under the sponsorship of Korea United Pharm Inc.

The choir was established with the aim of bringing classical music to a wider audience with members being students from universities, or simply music lovers between the age of 18 and 40.

Since being founded, one notable success of the orchestra came in May when they won a silver medal during the sixth International Choir Competition in Da Nang.

To mark the upcoming music function, the organisers of the program will award 50 Homtamin scholarships worth VND4 million each to excellent students from universities located throughout Ho Chi Minh City. VOV
