Vietnam’s head coach Park Hang Seo has begun scouring Europe in his search for Vietnamese footballers to help join the national team. Let’s review some of the outstanding faces who could become key members of the squad in the future.
Filip Nguyen is a 27 year old currently playing for Slovan Liberec FC in the Czech Republic and has previously expressed his desire to play for Vietnam. Park Hang Seo has flown to Europe specifically to watch the goalkeeper in action. Currently his transfer price is US$855,000.
Striker Alexander Dang, 29, (in the white T-shirt) is another potential player for future Vietnam squads. Mr. Park is travelling to Norway to see the forward in action. He stands at 1.85 metres tall and has a transfer value of US$340,000.
Jason Quang-Vinh Pendant, 22, is a defender currently playing for Sochaux FC in Ligue 2.
Martin Lo is a 21 year old midfielder who grew up in Australia. He has a dynamic style of play that is perfectly suited to modern football. Park Hang Seo recently watched his performance for Pho Hien against Can Tho FC.

Mac Hong Quan, 27, would be well suited to Park Hang Seo’s squad as he can play in multiple positions. He has played well in all seven of Quang Ninh FC’s matches this V-League season, scoring 2 goals.
