A fashion show featuring a range of different Ao Dai, Vietnam’s national outfit, took place in Thuong Bac park in Hue in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on January 14.
The range of Ao Dai on show during the event comes from the latest collection, created by designer Viet Bao. The fashion show marks their introduction to the public.
Viet Bao is a famous designer from Hue, he has been behind numerous successful collections which have made waves on both the domestic and international stage.
With the biennial festival taking place in his hometown, Viet Bao is a regular contributor to the event.
The main colours featured in this collection are blue, red, and orange, all of which serve to symbolise the Hue imperial citadel.
The fashion show is taking place as part of the Tet Hue Festival 2020 with a view to introducing the traditional Tet customs of Hue residents to the world.
