Luong Thuy Linh, Vietnam’s representative who finished in the Top 12 of Miss World 2019, has been named among the Top 25 in the Beauty Of The Year 2019 list as announced by global beauty website Pageantology.
Thuy Linh put in a number of strong displays at Miss World 2019, finishing in the Top 12 overall.
She is the only Vietnamese representative named among the Top 40 in the Beauty Of The Year poll. The Vietnamese girl therefore joins other global beauties including Zozibini Tunzi, Miss Universe 2019, Anntonia Porsild, Miss Supranational 2019, Nellys Pimentel, Miss Earth 2019, and Madison Anderson, the first runner-up of Miss Universe 2019, on the list.
After making the Top 40, she successfully progressed to the Top 25 where she was alongside outstanding faces of Miss World 2019 such as the first runner-up Ophély Mézino of France, and the pageant’s second runner-up Suman Rao of India.
Thuy Linh is a 19-year-old from Cao Bang province who stands at 1.77 metres tall with measurements of 89-64-92. She won the crown of Miss World Vietnam 2019 back in August and is currently studying at the Hanoi Foreign Trade University.
The Vietnamese beauty showcased her talents by putting in a number of strong performances during the contest. By displaying her abilities on the catwalk in the talent segment during the competition, Thuy Linh successfully claimed a place among the Top 10 in the Top Model segment.
Moreover, the girl from Cao Bang also secured a spot in the Top 10 of the Beauty with a Purpose segment during the competition’s grand final.
Thuy Linh is named among the Top 10 of the Beauty with a Purpose segment whilst also being named in the contest’s Top 12 during the competition’s grand final, marking a new landmark for Vietnamese beauty in global beauty pageants.
