Vietnam U19 team tie goalless with Thailand

Under pressure from the Thai counter attack, Việt Nam’s defence held strong.

The first chance to break the deadlock fell to Việt Nam’s Nguyễn Thị Tuyết Ngân but her shot was over the crossbar.

After that, Thailand went on to dominate the first half. Goalie Nguyễn Thị Loan needed to be at her best to keep the scores level.

After the break Thailand kept up the pressure but couldn’t do enough to find the back of the net.

Việt Nam are in third place in the event with one win, one draw and one loss.
