The match between Vietnam and the UAE will take place on June 15 at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai. This is considered the "final" match of Group G.

Vietnamese fans in the UAE had planned to buy tickets to support the Vietnamese team in this very important game. According to the regulations of the organizers, fans who want to watch the game must have certificates showing that they have two doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

However, Vietnamese fans in Dubai doubted that tickets in the area for guest fans have all been sold.

The organizing board began selling tickets for the game right after the match between Vietnam and Malaysia, which Vietnamese fans did not expect.

"This may be a conspiracy by the UAE to not let Vietnamese fans to come to cheer the Vietnamese team. We are very upset about this unsavory action of the host country," a Vietnamese fan in Dubai said.

In the two matches against Indonesia and Malaysia, a large number of Vietnamese fans came to support the Vietnamese team, creating a passionate atmosphere to cheer for coach Park Hang Seo and his players. However, in the game against the UAE, Vietnamese fans were able to buy only some tickets in the area for home fans at VND150,000 (over $6). Tickets with a face value of VND900,000 were sold out.

"We are trying to hunt for tickets. My group has bought more than 20 tickets," said a Vietnamese fan in Dubai.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) decided that fans will be allowed to enter stadiums at a 30 percent capacity.

Regarding matches without the presence of hosts UAE, the available amount of tickets will be equally divided between fans of the two playing teams. As for matches played by the UAE, fans of guest side will be allowed to purchase a maximum of 10 percent of the total tickets issued.

Audiences are requested to strictly implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

In order to be admitted into stadiums, fans must be vaccinated and carry a negative report from their RT-PCR tests, which must be done no more than 48 hours before entry to the stadium. In addition, fans aged below 16 will not be allowed.

All fans will have their temperatures checked before entry and must keep a distance from one another in the stands and wear face masks during the match.

The Vietnam-UAE game is considered the "final" match of Group G. Vietnam currently has 17 points, two more than the host UAE. The team will enter the third stage as the leader of group G if they do not lose to the UAE on June 15. If Vietnam lose to the UAE, they still have a big opportunity to continue in the group as top five runners-up.
