Kaspersky data shows that the number of online and offline attacks in Vietnam decreased sharply in 2021 compared to the previous year, which indicated Vietnam's efforts in creating a safe cyberspace.

Cybercriminals have actively attacked small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Southeast Asia this year, according to global cybersecurity company Kaspersky.

The number of detections of web threats in Vietnam fell by more than 30 per cent last year compared to 2018, with 75 million different Internet-borne cyberthreats, according to Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) 2019.

Vietnam had the second lowest number of Android threats detected in Southeast Asia in the period from January to September this year, according to cybersecurity company Kaspersky.
