More foreign experts have come to HCM City to hasten a local metro project which is expected to have its first train arrive in October.

The first train for the Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro project in HCM City will arrive in Vietnam from Japan in October.

HCM City is speeding up the construction of a local metro project which has been continuously delayed. 

A metro project connecting Nhon area in Bac Tu Liem District and Hanoi Railway Station is set to have initial dynamic tests from September.

Foreign investors are getting access to various master plans and priority infrastructure projects and hearing directly from policymakers and authorities at the Infrastructure Vietnam Summit that opened on July 25 in HCMC.

 VietNamNet Bridge – HCM City is seeking US$1.9 billion for the second phase of metro line No 5, which extends from the new Can Giuoc Bus Station in District 8 to the Bay Hien intersection in Tan Binh District.

 VietNamNet Bridge – After Dong Nai Province, it is now the turn of Binh Duong to seek extension of HCM City’s first metro route from Ben Thanh to Suoi Tien so that it can reach the province’s My Phuoc-Tan Van Road.
