Repairs to the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) undersea cable linking Southeast Asia with the US will begin on May 28 and are scheduled to wrap up on June 2, a Vietnamese telecoms provider has said.

The Ministry of Transport has asked relevant offices to complete surface damage repairs of Hanoi's Thang Long Bridge by September.

 VietNamNet Bridge – The investor of Nui Coc Lake Dam in the northern province of Thai Nguyen was told yesterday to speed up work of repairing the facility.

"I would like to apologize for late settlement of the people’s concerns on behalf of the authorities at all levels," said Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi.
