Eligible entries consist of approved projects on greensolutions; and architectural constructions as well as urban and rural complexesthat are being built or have already become operational. Those designed byVietnamese architects can be located in Vietnam or overseas, while those byforeign ones must be in Vietnam.

The entries will be judged over five criteria – sustainable location,efficient use of resources and energy, environmental quality, typical culturalcharacteristics, and sustainable social and humanitarian impact.  
According to VAA Chairman Nguyen Tan Van, the competition thisyear appreciates buildings that use smart materials, reflect Vietnamesecultural characteristics, and bring better living standards for the communitiesparticularly in disadvantaged areas.

The organising board said submissions should be sent to theVAA’s headquarters at No 40 Tang Bat Ho street in Hanoi, with the deadlinescheduled for December 29.

The awards will tae place in late April 2020. There will bea golden prize worth 50 million VND (2,150 USD).-
