Vietnam: responsible member of UNCLOS
After four years of preparations and nine years of negotiations, the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982 (UNCLOS 1982) was signed by 107 countries, including Vietnam in 1982 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Seas, islands week 2018 to take place in Quang Ninh
The annual Vietnam Seas and Islands Week 2018 will take place in the northern province of Quang Ninh in June in response to World Oceans Day (June 8), announced the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
