According to statistics of the Ministry of Health, by July 25, Vietnam had recorded a total of 96,287 locally transmitted cases, including 61,192 cases in Ho Chi Minh City.

Thanks to the great efforts of health workers, the number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered and been discharged from hospital is on the rise.

Vietnam is accelerating vaccination against Covid-19, aiming to create herd immunity by the end of 2021 and early 2022. By July 25, 4,613,491 people were vaccinated, including 4,223,628 people with the first shot and 389,863 people with the second shot.
