The reported cold spell has covered the whole of the North, causing temperatures to plunge with several places having recorded extreme cold on the morning of November 19.
According to the hydro-meteorological station of Lao Cai province, from Monday night the cold spell increased sharply, causing the mercury in the area simultaneously decreased compared to the previous day.
