The man stole the family’s car to escape and then burned it after that

Jung Young Sook, 49, was murdered on the spot after an armed man broke into their home in District 7's Tan Phong Ward at around 2 am on Saturday, the police said.      

Her husband Yoon Sang Yong, 50, and their 16-year-old daughter were also attacked and faced severe trauma.

The man stole the family’s car to escape. The car was found burned at a land plot in An Khanh Ward, District 2 nearly two hours later.

Police believe the suspect was a South Korean man aged between 20 and 25 who wears glasses.
