Police in HCM City on Wednesday arrested a South Korean man who was suspected of killing a South Korean woman and injuring her husband and daughter.

Head of the HCM City Public Security Department's Criminal Police Unit, Nguyen Dang Nam, announced on the evening of December 25 that they detained Lee Hyeongwon, 29, who allegedly killed a woman and injured her husband and daughter at their home in District 7.
The suspected was detained four days after the incident occurred. Jung Young Sook, 49, was killed on the spot after the armed man broke into their home in Tan Phong Ward at around 2 am on December 21, the policeman said.
Her husband Yoon Sang Yong, 50, and their 16-year-old daughter, Yoon Jeong Jyi, were also attacked and faced severe trauma.
