According to the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3, on May 14, the unit handed over to the Museum of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province (Department of Culture and Sports of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) some artifacts that were illegally salvaged by fishing boats.

On May 14, the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3 handed over to the Museum of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province some artifacts that were illegally salvaged by fishing boats.

 

The antiques handed over to the museum this time include: 3 pots, 2 small jars, 13 bowls, 5 round plates, 1 big jar, 2 vases, 3 oval dishes, and 8 other samples. This is the number of antiques seized by the Coast Guard force from illegally salvaged vessels in the Nam Con Dao waters (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) from November 14, 2019 to February 24, 2020.

According to the assessment results, the above antiquities dated from the ninth to the early tenth centuries with the main materials of pottery, terracotta and porcelain.

The High Command of Coast Guard Region 3 handed over the above antiques to the Museum of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for management in accordance with the law.
