Hoi An will temporarily halt the operation of several tourist sites during the coming Lunar New Year in order to host other cultural activities.

According to an announcement by Hoi An City chairman, Nguyen Van Son, the operation of a pedestrian street and night street will be suspended from January 21 to 27.

Ticket sales to Hoi An Town, Thanh Ha Pottery Village, and Tra Que Vegetable Village will also be suspended from January 24- 27.


Instead there will be various cultural activities including a Spring Flower Festival held in the old town area.

Other activities including exhibitions, traditional games, folk singing competitions, and some spring festivals will be held around the old town or in Tra Que and Kim Bong villages. Dtinews
