Vietnamese cultural products were put on display at the Asia-Pacific American Heritage Month celebrations which recently took place in Baltimore, the largest city in the state of Maryland, in the US.
This year’s celebration marks the first time that the Vietnamese embassy and Vietnamese community in the US has taken part in the event. In doing so, they have presented Vietnam as a dynamic and friendly nation to new international friends.
The Vietnamese embassy brought images of the country’s famous landscapes, beautiful Vietnamese traditional dress known as Ao Dai, martial art performances, traditional food, and tourism products to the festival.
Vietnamese booth also attracted a large number of arrivals who hope to visit the country in the near future.
Specially, the Ao Dai show performed by the Vietnamese student association in Washington DC received a great reception from international friends.
The annual Heritage Month event aims to honour the cultural values and contributions made by the Asian community in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. VOV
