Vietnamese director Pham Ngoc Lan has won the grand prize “Uppsala Grand Prix” at the Uppsala International Short Film Festival in Sweden for his short film “Mot khu dat tot” (Blessed land).

Vietnam's movie “Vo ba” (The Third Wife) won the post-production and “Hong Kong to Cannes” awards at the 15th Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum, which took place in Hong Kong from March 13-15.

 Famous actresses Angela Phuong Trinh and Thanh Thuy, who are main casts of the Vietnamese movie “Taxi, Em Ten Gi?”, have been invited to the Cannes Film Festival, which will take place in May in France.
