A representative of Masan Group said the enterprise is following the ‘green factory’ and ‘green worker’ principle.
Its factory in Binh Duong is recruiting 900 workers. To maintain ‘green zone’, the factory have established three dorms and buffer zones for workers to stay, which can accommodate hundreds of people.
There are dormitories for screened healthy workers working in the factory; and buffer zones for workers who are going to work in factory or those who have just entered/exited the factory.
Masan has set up a standardized process for implementing the ‘new normal’, giving guidance about medical solutions, and necessary quarantine to be applied by production and logistics units in case positive Covid-19 cases are found.
The enterprise has a quick response team which will directly deal with problems.
Meanwhile, MM Mega Market has equipped its workforce with knowledge about the Covid-19 pandemic through online consultancy with doctors. The retail chain aims to have 100 percent of workers with ‘green cards’ and have all green shopping points. 1,500workers have been fully vaccinated.
The HCM City Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has required supermarkets and shopping malls to control people density. The minimum density is 4 square meters of business area per head, while the minimum distance between two nearest people is two meters.
MM Mega Market has put into operation a system that controls the numbers of clients shopping at the same time. The AI-based system can differentiate clients and officers through officers’ uniforms.
The cameras at the entrance/exit are connected with the central server. It analyzes the number of shoppers and will alert the management board if the density is higher than allowed.
Clients will also know the number of shoppers through the screen at the entrance gate. They will have to queue up and wait for their turn if the number of shoppers inside supermarkets exceeds the permitted density.
Aeon Tan Phu also uses the system that counts number of people entering and exiting supermarkets to be sure than no more than 50 clients shop at the same time.
Clients, while waiting for their turn to shop, will stay in an area arranged for them. All the officers contacting clients directly will be granted a ‘green card’. They will wear protective masks, gloves and plastic shield and will be tested periodically.
At the press conference on September 30, the HCM City Industry and Trade Department said districts and Thu Duc City will reopen traditional markets.
