HCM City Television (HTV) and Viet Nam Cable Television's (VTVcab) channels will broadcast all of top-flight Dutch side SC Heerenveen's games this year.

The On Media Company in Viet Nam has secured rights to broadcast the Eredivisie 2019-20 season and it selected HTV and VTVcab to screen the games.

Hau, who is on a one-year loan from V.League 1 champions Hanoi FC, had his first training session with Heerenveen on Thursday.

The defender will earn US$22,000 per month and if he performs well, SC Heerenveen have an option to sign him permanently for $1.7 million.

Hau started playing for the national team when he was 18. At 20, he had already won major tournaments including the AFF Cup in 2018 with the national team and V. League 1 with Hanoi last season. — VNS
