The official F1 Twitter account released a photo today of the race dates for the 2020 season, with the Hanoi Grand Prix slated for April 5.
The race in the Vietnamese capital is set to be the third of the season, sandwiched between races in Bahrain and China.
While the schedule is subject to approval from the sport’s governing body the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the announcement is sure to ramp up excitement ahead of one of the country’s biggest ever international sporting events.
Preparations have been in full swing since March 2019 for a thrilling street race, west of Vietnam’s capital, around a 5.565km track located near the My Dinh National Stadium.
Tickets have been on sale since July 17.
