Some of the notable names are conductor Bongmee Kim, violinist Hyungi Kim, female soprano Sujeong Kang and pianist Beomjun Kim from the Republic of Korea, and lecturers from the conservatory including singer Anh Bang and conductor Ho Duy Truong.

The concert marks the second birthday anniversary of the United Youth Harmony Choir, a community choir founded at the HCM City Conservatory of Music under the sponsorship of Korea United Pharm Inc.

Consisting of students from various universities and music lovers aged between 18 and 40, the choir’s ambition is to bring classical music closer to a wider audience.

Over the past two years, the choir has performed in dozens of concerts. In May 2019, the choir won a silver medal at the sixth International Choir Competition in Danang.

The organizers will also grant 50 Homtamin scholarships worth VND4 million each to excellent university students in HCM City. SGT
