Pham Nhat Vuong (Chairman of Vingroup) was the first USD billionaire on the Vietnam stock exchange beginning on March 7, 2011, with assets worth of about 21.2 trillion VND, equivalent to 1 billion US dollars at that time.
After two years, he was honored for the first time as Vietnam's USD billionaire on the Forbes list, ranking 974th in the world with total assets of 1.5 billion USD.
On the updated list of Forbes, Vuong currently has 7.5 billion USD.
2. Tran Dinh Long - 3.1 billion USD
This year, Mr. Tran Dinh Long reappeared in Forbes' ranking after the first time in 2018. By December 24, 2021, the Chairman of Hoa Phat Group rose to second place in Vietnam's ranking with a fortune of 3.1 billion USD, an increase of more than 800 million USD compared to the beginning of the year.

2021 was a difficult year for the domestic aviation industry. However, with specific strategies, Vietjet Air still recorded amazing development milestones.
Vietjet has announced its financial report for the third quarter of 2021. Vietjet Air's net revenue reached 2,654 billion VND, down 25% compared to the second quarter and down 5.5% over the same period last year.

The sixth richest person in Vietnam is Mr. Tran Ba Duong, Chairman of Truong Hai Automobile Group (Thaco).
Truong Hai Automobile Company founded by Duong initially only sold cars at the beginning, then gradually assembled for foreign brands such as Kia, Mazda and Peugeot, and produced Vietnamese-branded buses and trucks. Duong currently holds a fortune of up to 1.6 billion USD. Compared to February 2020, the billionaire's fortune has decreased by about 100 million USD.
