iPhone 11 Pro, one of the three iPhone models of 2019, is inferior to the model iPhone 11 Pro Max and the iPhone 11.

A salesman on Thai Ha street in Hanoi said the demand for iPhone 11 Pro is very low, so the shop has stopped selling the product. Some other shops in Hanoi and HCM City still sell the product, but with limited choices of colors and memory capacity.

A shop on Cau Giay street only has 64GB version to sell. The customers who order iPhone 11 Pro 256 and 512 GB have to pay a deposit and wait for delivery.

VnExpress online newspaper, which carried out a mini survey of 1,000 readers on September 13, found that only 20 percent like iPhone 11 Pro, while 50 percent choose iPhone 11 Pro Max and 30 percent iPhone 11.

Of the three models, iPhone 11 Pro is the worst seller in Vietnam. The senior executive of a large distribution chain said the sales of iPhone 11 account for less than 10 percent of the total sales of the three models.

He said the price of the product is not much higher than iPhone 11, while the difference between them is insignificant. 

Some private shops have stopped selling iPhone 11 Pro, though the model is considered higher in grade than iPhone 11 and has the same configuration and camera as iPhone 11 Pro Max

iPhone 11 Pro has the selling price of VND28 million for the 64 GB version, VND1.5 million lower than iPhone 11 Pro Max, while VND8 million higher than iPhone 11.

Therefore, buyers would rather spend VND1.5 million more to buy iPhone 11 Pro Max, or choose iPhone XS Max which have better screen, battery and memory capacity.

iPhone 11 Pro has 3 cameras which are exactly the same as iPhone 11 Pro Max, but the screen is smaller than iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max, just 5.8 inch. Experts commented that iPhone 11 Pro is just the updated version of iPhone XS which was launched last year.

In Vietnam, many people have shown interest in locked iPhone 11 which came to Vietnam just two weeks after the three models hit the shelves.

Vietnamese understand the risks when using locked products, but the prices of locked iPhone 11 are VND10-15 million cheaper than international versions.

People tend to choose the Gold color. Midnight Green is also favored.

In related news, used iPhone 7 are selling very well in Vietnam. The price of the model fell to VND4.8 million after iPhone 11 hit the market.
