As VietNamNet has reported, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has launched a nationwide Covid-19 vaccination campaign. To register for vaccination, people can download the Electronic Health Book application on the application store of the iOS and Android operating systems.
The electronic health book is just a part of the Covid-19 vaccination management platform, which consists of 4 systems: Electronic Health Book Application, Covid-19 Immunization Information Portal, National Immunization Support System, and Response Center (MCC).
Since it was launched in early July, the electronic health book has been the most downloaded application in the medical field on both Android and iOS operating systems. This shows the importance and interest of people in the application.
However, many users reported that the Electronic Health Book application has several shortcomings. The most common errors are the app malfunctioning, failing to register an account, failing to scan QR codes on the health insurance card, or having insufficient information about district level hospitals and others.
Ngo Vinh Quy, Deputy General Director of Viettel Solution, the developer of the electronic health book, explained: "At the initial stage, the information about the application is not yet available in a timely manner. Many people do not have information on how to use the application.”

Helping millions of people know how to use a mobile app is not an easy task. But this app will be improved, Quy confirmed.
To solve this problem, the developer will create a video tutorial on how to use this app so that people can better understand the application. In addition, regularly updating and improving the software will contribute to solving arriving problems.
Since July 8 when the electronic health book application was launched, it has been upgraded many times, with a total of 6 updates. The content of these updates is to fix errors, improve the interface and performance of the application.
On average, there are two new updated versions of this application every week.
At present, the Electronic Health Book application is rated 3.8 on a 5-star scale by AppStore users. For the Google Play application store of the Android operating system, the electronic health book app is rated 4.2 out of a 5- star scale.
According to statistics, in the first week since the app was launched, nearly 2 million people registered for Covid-19 vaccinations on the electronic health book application. In total, about 4.2 million people have registered for Covid-19 vaccination on all online platforms.
Asked about the fact that many people have registered but have not been vaccinated, a representative of Viettel Solution said that the Ministry of Health has a process of screening and approving subjects for vaccinations to ensure safety.
The vaccination procedure is designed to be very standard and must ensure absolute safety for those getting vaccinations. The vaccination management platform is a tool that helps the Ministry of Health to screen people who are vaccinated.
