Bus and taxi services are also permitted to resume according to the capacity and route guided by the Hanoi Department of Transport, the regulations of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Health and regulations on epidemic prevention and control.

State agencies, offices, organizations and businesses will return to normal operations but they have to regularly self-assess risks and strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures as prescribed. However, working online is still encouraged.

Museums and parks are allowed to reopen to welcome visitors with no more than 10 people/group. Visitors have to ensure the distance, fully comply with regulations on epidemic prevention and control.

Hotels can operate up to 50% of their capacity and have to fully meet accommodation business conditions and measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with regulations of the tourism sector.

Restaurants and food and beverage service establishments can serve customers on the spot, with no more than 50% of seats occupied and must ensure the distance between tables or have partitions/shields. Restaurant owners and employees must be fully vaccinated. Diners have to do a QR code scan upon entering restaurants.

The move was made as the COVID-19 situation has been controlled in the capital city and to adopt the Government guidance on “safe adaptation, flexibility and effective control of the COVID-19 pandemic”.
