It also aims to prevent hoarding and overcharging for single-use face masks. The manufacturers will use an antibacterial material imported from the US to make the masks. All steps of the process, from dying to pressing, must be done carefully.
The masks can be washed and used 30 times. About 10 firms in HCM City are producing the masks to meet demand. Each day, a factory produces 100,000 masks. In the coming time, they will find ways to increase productivity.
As of now, at least 2.5 million masks have been put on sale at supermarkets. About a million masks are being made for pharmacies and free giveaway to the citizens.
