This hospital has been opened for four days and it is where patients without clear symptoms or mild symptoms are treated.

The field hospital is set up in three resettlement apartment buildings in Thu Thiem new urban area in the newly established Thu Duc City, with more than 2,600 apartments.

The Thu Thiem resettlement area in An Khanh ward, Thu Duc city has many apartment buildings that have been abandoned for five years. After four days, these abandoned apartments have quickly filled with thousands of Covid-19 patients.

A number of apartments are used as quarantine sites.

On July 14, hundreds of health workers from the northern province of Quang Ninh came here to take care of patients.

Nearly 100 militiamen are in charge of transporting rice and drinking water to patients' rooms.
