Covering a total area of 3,000 hectares, Van Long lagoon is an eco-tourism site which is considered to be the largest wetland nature reserve site throughout the northern delta. 

The lagoon is surrounded by limestone mountains such as Meo Cao, Mam Xoi, and Co Tien.
