The move was made following Oxalis Adventure’s proposal on continuing the operation of the tour to Son Doong Cave and Rao Thuong Stream-Hang En Cave by late 2030.
Under the contract with the National Park Phong Nha-Ke Bang’s management board, the company has been running the tour since 2015.
So far this year, Oxalis has organised 92 tours to Son Doong Cave for 805 travellers around the world, earning total revenues of VND55 billion (USD2.39 million).
The Son Doong Expedition has been listed worldwide as one of the top bucket list adventures, where tourists get to explore the largest cave on Earth, Hang Son Doong, over a span of 4 days and 3 nights.
