The national flag carrier VietnamAirlines has announced that it will launch direct air routes linking Ho ChiMinh City with Indonesia’s Bali and Thailand’s Phuket on October 27.

Accordingly, the carrier will run seven Ho Chi Minh City –Bali flights per week. However, there will be only five flights per week fromOctober 27 to late March 2020 due to limited services in Denpasar airport,Bali.

Flights will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 11:10am andBali at 4:50pm every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

It will be the second route to Indonesia following the HoChi Minh City – Jakarta route that the carrier launched in December 2012 withseven flights per week.

Meanwhile, there will be three flights on the Ho Chi MinhCity - Phuket route per week.

Flights depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 3:50pm and Phuket at6:40pm every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

The number of flights on the route is expected to increaseto seven per week as from late March 2020, considering the big potential ofthis service.

Vietnam Airlines will also resume its service connecting thecentral coastal city of Da Nang and Bangkok on October 27, which will departfrom Da Nang at 3:20pm and Bangkok at 6pm./. VNA
