The 10th European Food Festival, a day of authentic European cooking demonstrations by chefs from leading hotels and restaurants in Hanoi, will take place on May 14 in the gardens of the National Library in the capital.

During this 10th holding of the event Hanoians will see a revamped and expanded festival, according to the organizer, the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham).

The festival will feature cuisine from some of the most famous hotels and restaurants in Hanoi, serving their take on European dishes with creations from their talented chefs.

The festival further promises visitors a cultural journey through a mouth-watering line up of authentic European cuisine and beverages.

The EU-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN) will also have a booth where several European companies will offer their products in Vietnam for the first time.

Highlights will include a cryogenic food show for children, live music, entertainment, a kids’ corner and a lucky draw with amazing prizes such as flights to Europe.

According to EuroCham the event is a major opportunity for members of the European and Vietnamese communities to meet and mingle. Visitors will have the chance to discover and experience the diversity of European specialties, with its many tastes and flavors.

After having 1,300 participants and 20 food booths in 2015, EuroCham expects an even bigger turnout this year that will showcase the variety of European cuisine.
