1. Boyhood

It is about the boy Mason (Ellar Coltrane), six years old, who lives with his single mother Olivia (Patricia Arquette) and his sister Samantha (Lorelei Linklater, the director's daughter). Occasionally, his father, Mason Sr (Ethan Hawke) comes to take him and his sister out. Time goes by, Mason gradually grows up and becomes an 18 year old about to enter the university…

“Boyhood” has won more than 150 awards, including three Golden Globes, three Baftas and an Oscar for actress Patricia Arquette (Best Supporting Actress). The film depicts a journey marking the image of a spirited, eager youth and the changes in family life over a long period of time.

2. Chappie

This is the first sci-fi action film debuting after the Lunar New Year 2015. It is about a robot named Chappie.

In the near future, crime is patrolled by an oppressive mechanized police force. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself.

The film is directed by South African director Neill Blomkamp (District 9 and Elysium). Three famous actors star in the film: Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver and Dev Patel.

3. Jupiter Ascending

“Jupiter Ascending” is the latest blockbuster directed by The Wachowskis siblings, who directed The Matrix series. The main character of the film is Jupiter Jones, a Russian-born girl whose life is at a standstill. She has to clean toilets for a living.

Jupiter Jones was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks.

The film stars Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Eddie Redmayne, who won the Oscar for Best Actor (for his performance in the film the “Theory of Everything”) in February.

4. Cinderella

The story of Cinderella follows the fortunes of young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the tragic death of her mother.
