Vo Trong Phuc is among outstanding candidates in the final round because he has had a large number of fans.

Phuc is an English teacher, who has performed at night clubs in HCM City for a long time. He is good looking and has a sweet voice, which is suitable for country-music songs.

He was praised by judge, song-writer Huy Tuan, in the qualifier round, with “Home”, a song by Michael Bulble. In the semi-final round, Phuc won the compliment of Judge Thuy Hanh, for the song “You’re beautiful” by James Blunt. He received the highest number of votes to go to the finale.

Vu Dinh Tri Giao was born in Singapore. She has lived in Vietnam for two years. She is a fourth grade student at the South Saigon International School.

The song “You raise me up” has made Giao an outstanding child talent of Vietnam’s Got Talent in the qualifier round. In the next round, she chose “When you believe”. Despite some technical errors, the 9-year-old girl had won the audience’s hearts. The English songs that she performed in the qualifier and semi-final rounds have the same message: if you have faith, you can do anything.

Nguyen Phuong Anh is now a 10th-grade student at Hanoi’s Vietnam-Germany High School. Music is very important in the life of this glass-bone patient. In the qualifier round, Phuong Anh’s Let’s Dance song has touched the hearts of viewers. She has become an example of courage and vitality.

In the next round, Phuong Anh kept proving her firm stuff through the song “This is me” of Demi Lovato and entered the final round.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc is a little girl from the central province of Quang Ngai. She won the championship of a singing contest for kids on the national TV in 2010. Truc is now a student at the Tran Hung Dao Primary School in Quang Ngai.

In the qualifier round, Truc performed “H’ren goes to mountain field” by Nguyen Cuong. In the next round, she sang “Stork”. The little girl was praised by judges and the audience for her strong voice.

Before joining the Vietnam’s Got Talent, Vu Song Vu was a phenomenon on the Internet with the song “My heart will go on”. The boy got out of the online world to prove his singing talent in front of million of viewers.

Judge Thuy Hanh burst out crying when Vu performed “My heart will go on” in the qualifier round. In the semi-final round, the 13-year-old boy won the support of the jury and the audience through the song “My grandmother.”

Dinh Ngoc Hoang is a student from the Japanese language faculty of the Danang Foreign Language University. As a rock music lover, Hoang performed a song by Guns & Roses. Judge Huy Tuan said that Hoang was a replica of the major singer of this rock band. Hoang said that he intentionally aped that singer because he was not a professional rocker, so it was his success when he could copy the style of his idol.

Thanks to the votes of two judges: Thuy Hanh and Thanh Loc, Hoang entered the semi-final round. However, after he sang “She’s Gone”, judge Huy Tuan admitted that he did a mistake to not give a vote to Hoang in the qualifier round.

Hoang is a new rocker who is discovered in the first season of Vietnam’s Got Talent.

Dong Thoi Gian (Passage of Time) group impressed the audience as the first opera singing group in Vietnam. As trained singers, the troupe proved their ability in bringing opera to the public.

Duong Manh Hoa is a staff of a bank in HCM City. He loves popping dance and brought it to Vietnam’s Got Talent.

Nguyen Dang Quan and Tran Bao Ngoc are not the only couple of child dancers but they impressed judges and the audience by their spontaneity and creativeness.

In the qualifier round, they performed dance-sport and Michael Jackson-styled dances but in the next round, they chose a folk dance. The little dancers won the highest number of vote from the audience to move into the finale.

“Moc” is the only one a capella group of Vietnam’s Got Talent. They are highly appreciated for their creativeness and musical thought.

Gia Dinh Bong Bong (Balloon Family) is a group of graffiti fans from the northern port city of Hai Phong. However, they performed Parkour at Vietnam’s Got Talent.

Nguyen Truong Giang is also a popping performer, with funny and impressive performing style.

Nguyen Huong Thao is an employee of the Bio-technology Institute. She is considered among “new discoveries” of Vietnam’s Got Talent 2012 with her opera singing skill.

Kieu Van Thanh, 40, from the southern province of Long An, is a musical instrument maker. Thanh’s strange instruments surprised the audience and he entered the finale.

The final round will take place on April 22 and 29. In the gala night on May 6 in HCM City, the two contestants selected by the audience and two by the jury will perform live. The winner will be chosen by the audience. The gala will be aired live on VTV3.
