VietNamNet Bridge – The peak month of the summer movie season will gather 15 interesting works, from action blockbusters to 3D animations, Vietnamese, Indian and French films.

1. 3D Despicable Me 2

2. White House Down

4. Hummingbird

6. Catch the Man

The Vietnamese movie is a "mystery" because there is not much information revealed before the movie goes to theaters, except for a shot trailer with many “hot” scene. The film revolves around the "husband hunting" of three women who always fail in love. This is a rare local movie labeled 16 +.

7. Hot Sand

This is a film by director Le Hoang, which was introduced at the 2nd Vietnam International Film Festival last year.

Hot Sand is a story in a resort in the central coast of Vietnam. Tuyet and Nam, the resort’s bosses want to build a pier to modernize the resort. However, they need the consent of a young girl named Cat – the owner of the wasteland. Cat is very innocent. She does not care about money or anything except for a few lizards living on the sand.

The struggle between the resort bosses and Cat is actually a struggle between man and the lizards. One side shows the modernity and civilization and the other side represent the integrity of the environment.

8. Blind Detective

12. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

13. Badges of Fury

Failure, helplessness, hopelessness, Loc had the idea of robbing a gold shop to pay Hai (Nhan Vinh Phuc), a notorious gangster who kidnapped Na – Loc’s sister but Loc was accidentally pulled into a different journey of Lam,  who is being hunted by a group of gangsters...
