VietNamNet Bridge – The 1992 Constitution revision draft was made public on January 2 for public feedback, in line with Resolution 38/2012/QH13 adopted by the National Assembly on November 23, 2012.


In its directive, the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) emphasized the importance of collecting opinions from people of all strata on the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution.

Directive 22-CT/TW, signed by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on December 28, states, says this is an important political activity of the entire Party, people and political system to promote the rights to mastery, and aspirations of people from all social sections as well as administration power at all levels.

At the same time, it will help raise the sense of both duties and responsibilities of every individual, agency and organization towards the revision and the enforcement of the Constitution and laws for the purpose of building Vietnam into a law-governed socialist country of, by and for the people.

Public opinions on the 1992 Constitution revision draft will be collected from January 2 to March 31.
