On November 5, the Center for Digital Media Research and Training, in partnership with the Vietnam Youth Startup Support Center and other collaborators, launched a program titled “Driving Digital Economy Growth – Empowering Social Responsibility.” The program aims to enhance digital business capabilities for 20 million Vietnamese youth by equipping them with essential livestreaming and digital marketing skills.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to foster economic growth while supporting social welfare. Through this program, young Vietnamese will receive training on how to build and manage digital channels effectively across social media platforms. Key activities will include hosting large-scale “megalive” sessions and launching content campaigns with specific hashtags to boost digital economy growth and social awareness.
The program also encourages content creators, online vendors, and businesses to contribute a portion of their earnings from mega livestream events to support community projects and charitable organizations.
In addition to targeting young entrepreneurs, the program plans to offer social media training in schools, where students will gain hands-on experience by establishing social media channels.
This initiative, organized by BigHeart MCN, will start in November 2024 on an online learning platform operated by the Vietnam Youth Startup Support Center.
Schools participating in these workshops aim to establish at least one functional social media channel per school, enhancing communication and promotional skills.
Nguyen Phan Huy Khoi, Director of the Vietnam Youth Startup Support Center, emphasized that this initiative will strengthen young people’s digital business skills, promoting a sustainable digital economy that integrates social responsibility.
"The digital economy presents tremendous opportunities for Vietnamese youth and the broader population. This initiative is not only socially meaningful but also a valuable opportunity for youth career development and entrepreneurship,” Khoi remarked.
