* Officials to inspect work on power plants
The People's Committee of central Thua Thien Hue Province has ordered related agencies to check on the progress of power-plant construction in the province.
The local Department of Trade and Industry was called upon to inspect construction of the Thuong Nhat, Thuong Lo, Song Bo, A Roang, and Ho Truoi plants and make reports to the provincial People's Committee in case of obstacles causing delay.
If investors fail to carry out work in time, their licences will be cancelled.
By 2015, 18 power plants will be built, with work on five already under way.
