According to the latest list, a total of eight players have been dropped from the squad. They include Lai Thi Tuyet, Tran Thi Thu Thao, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, Bui Thi Trang, Ngan Thi Van Su, Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan, and Nguyen Thi Truc Huong.

The women’s team will undertake three additional days of training in Ho Chi Minh City before flying to the Philippines to participate in the SEA Games 30 on November 22 as scheduled.

The regional competition will see the women’s national team compete in Group B alongside Thailand and Indonesia. Vietnam’s women will start their tournament by taking on Thailand on November 26 before facing Indonesia three days later.

Here is the full list of the 20 players called up to the women’s national team:

Goalkeepers: Khong Thi Hang (TKS VN FC), and Tran Thi Kim Thanh (Ho Chi Minh City FC)
