VietNamNet Bridge – Hanoi’s famous ao dai designer Lan Huong did not introduce ao dai but hand-made embroidered silk scarves at the Vietnam Spring-Summer Fashion Week (Dec. 6-12) on December 8 in Hanoi.

The collection, created over two years, was inspired by the natural scenery of spring flowers, land, cranes and dragonflies.

Lan Huong’s scarves have fine embroidery patterns and can be used as robes to wrap around the body.

The collection is made entirely from hand-woven silk, embroidered with silk thread. The colors were also dyed with natural materials.

Lan Huong used 200 artisans to work for 20 consecutive days to complete the collection.
